We work in the whole of the North Island and have an ongoing relationship with all the local timber sawmills so none of your trees are wasted. We take out and remove just what you need and if you wish to replant or put back into pasture then we can advise.We also work with all the nearest export ports of discharge to help you.
We employ skilled harvesting and marketing sevices for all facets of Forestry and use the up to date machines to get you the forestry owner maximum profit.
TRANSPORT
- We use many transport companies depending where the logs are.
- Local transport companies wherever possible to assist you with cost effective transport costs to the port and return
- We use the top NZ Logging Truckers like MacCatheys, CLS, Hood etc
- We can arrange mill transport for pickups costing you nothing as they have their own trucks.
- The costs are based on the log weights as well as a per km rate to and from the port to base.
TRANSPORT weights
- We use many transport companies depending where the logs are Aand the tonnage they can cary.
- Some trucks will carry 8 tonnes all up
- Trucks also now have air pressure to compensate for soft sand country & also all have RTs so they can load sighting ahead to the loader in advance. Time is precious to you and also to the drivers who work to get loads to the port as often as possible
Marketing
- We have access to all Lower North island sawmills
- We use many export options at Wellington, Napier, New Plymouth and Tauranga Ports.
- We assist you with all sales which are normally graded sales, outright to even composite purchase to provide a solution which suits each individual forest owner.
- Our International wing in Asia can also find markets others cannot find? plus we will be arranging after market parts for CAT etc
- We can deliver into local timber mills for postwood and poles so your small logs are not wasted. Thus you get value for money. Most of all we are there tio assist you.
- All your pruned logs and graded logs are sent to port for export.
